You’re Invited: First-Ever Wisconsin Salt & Light Event | January 29

Friends,

We’re excited to invite you to the first-ever Wisconsin Salt & Light Event, a special evening bringing together faith leaders, grassroots activists, and policy leaders who are committed to living out our calling to be salt and light in public life (Matthew 5:13-16). The last time we invited you to come to Milwaukee for a free meal and event, the 1,000 seats were claimed in three days and JD Vance delivered this great speech to all of us.

You are on the list for a FREE TICKET including DINNER as long as you claim before tickets run out by CLICKING HERE to RSVP

This inaugural gathering will take place on the last Thursday of January — January 29, 2026 — in Milwaukee, and we hope you’ll join us. For all of you who flew up from the south to the JD Vance prayer breakfast you can wait and stay closer to home this year, because the last Thursday of February the group that grew out of WIFFC will have a separate launch event in Vestavia, Alabama.

Wisconsin Salt & Light – Featured Speakers

Keynote Speaker: Pastor Lorenzo Sewell
Pastor Sewell delivered this Benehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX4xJOBpV2sdiction at President Donald Trump’s Inauguration, a moment that captured national attention. He is a bold, compassionate pastor whose ministry bridges faith, community renewal, and civic engagement. His message for this evening will challenge and encourage believers to lead with courage in this moment, and to leave the church with the training and materials to register fellow faith-based voters to vote.

Governor Tommy Thompson
It was so wonderful to talk to the four-term Wisconsin Governor and learn that he is working through his still-busy schedule to speak. He is a national leader whose legacy includes pioneering reforms in welfare, healthcare, and helping launch the modern school choice movement—now embraced nationwide. In a time of divided politics, it is amazing to remember that in his last election he won both Milwaukee and Dane County to win by 21 points – by far the biggest mandate Wisconsinites have given one leader since then – with the next closest being Barack Obama winning by seven points fewer against John McCain.

Pastor Michael Larson
Board Member of Wisconsin Faith & Freedom Coalition and leader of a dynamic Lutheran outreach serving a diverse community that includes the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Pastor Larson brings a thoughtful, grounded perspective on faith and the essential role it must play in our lives, and attending his church is extremely uplifting.

Brent Hamachek
Author, strategist, and early mentor to Charlie Kirk, Brent has spent decades helping young leaders think clearly about culture, faith, and freedom. His insights on generational leadership and worldview formation are especially timely, with his Human Event years truly spreading conservatism throughout the country..

Pastor Paul Hoover
Pastor of Souls Harbour Baptist Church, our host church for the evening. Pastor Hoover has faithfully served Milwaukee for years and has been a strong partner in building unity and engagement across congregations.

Holly Klucarich
National Director, Strategic Engagement & Field Operations for Freedom and Family Action, a 501(c)(4) organization that grew out of Wisconsin Faith & Freedom. Holly works nationwide to connect faith-based grassroots leaders with effective issue advocacy and legislative action. We send you this invite on her birthday and appreciate her sharing this event on her much followed Facebook page as well.

A Quick Update Beyond Wisconsin

If you were expecting to see Holly Klucarich at a similar event in her home state of Alabama, you didn’t miss it. The Wisconsin Faith & Freedom Coalition remains focused on conservative voter registration and turnout efforts here in Wisconsin. To ensure there is no perception of mission drift among our supporters, we are migrating blog stories about events and activities taking place in Alabama or an occasional other state or events mentioning passage of legislation from www.wisconsinffc.com to 👉 www.freedomandfamilyaction.com.

Freedom and Family Action was formed specifically for those instances, as well as for political advocacy and lobbying efforts that align with the values of many of our supporters but go beyond the scope of WIFFC’s Wisconsin-based advocacy, voter registration and voter turnout work.

As noted above, the Wisconsin Salt & Light event will take place on the last Thursday in January (January 29). Information about the Alabama-based event led by Holly, scheduled for the last Thursday in February (February 26), will be added shortly to www.freedomandfamilyaction.com, where you can also RSVP. Alabama is the state where the majority of our canvassers live and work.

Freedom and Family Action’s lobbying efforts—grown out of research work first initiated by Wisconsin Faith & Freedom—seek to reform ActBlue’s processing of billions of dollars in unverified contributions to liberal causes and candidates. This legislation has already passed the Wisconsin Assembly, and in the past week both advanced through a Wisconsin State Senate committee AND was introduced on the first day of the Alabama legislative session. Similar efforts are expected to move forward in additional states as their sessions begin.

We hope you’ll join us on January 29 for this historic first Salt & Light gathering—and invite others who care deeply about faith, freedom, and the future of our communities.

The Wisconsin Faith & Freedom Coalition Team

P.S. You can view bios of additional team members who will be at the event on our team page: https://wisconsinffc.com/bios/.  At the event, our new Executive Director, Chris O’Brien, will distribute voter registration materials and walk attendees through best practices for registering voters and engaging Wisconsinites between elections. And finally our whole team wishes Holly Klucarich a HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY and appreciates her remembering us her coworkers on her birthday post about this Salt and Light event!

Quick update ~ Alabama this week—running multiple campaigns, meeting voters where they are, and doing the work that strengthens the foundation of our republic.

Now in just a few weeks, I’ll be heading north to Milwaukee for something special.

Wisconsin is where much of my work in faith-based civic engagement began years ago, and it’s meaningful to return for Wisconsin’s very first Salt & Light Event. I’m honored to join faith leaders and voices from across the state and our nation as we gather~ not for spectacle, but for substance.

This isn’t about politics for politics’ sake.

It’s about calling, conscience, and courage.

It’s about remembering who we are as Americans of faith~ and why our presence still matters.

Salt & Light moments aren’t loud. They’re steady.

They sharpen conviction, renew purpose, and remind us that cultural engagement begins with the heart.

If you come, come hungry~ not for answers handed to you, but for clarity, renewal, and resolve.

Come open~ not to be persuaded, but to be encouraged.

I hope as you leave, you are reminded that the spirit of America is still very much alive when people of faith show up with humility, strength, and love for this nation.

A Speech on Critical Issues

Our speakers offer deep insight into today’s most urgent policy fights and grassroots strategies that are shaping the future of center-right organizing. From election reform and voter turnout to parental rights and school choice, we bring real-world success stories and lessons learned from both the front lines and the back rooms.

Topics can include how we’ve advanced conservative policy—even in deep-blue places like New Jersey and California—and how we’ve won more campaigns than anyone else when being outspent by more than 3-to-1. Whether it’s breaking through with Hispanic, Black, or young voters, or walking audiences through our latest wins in swing states like Wisconsin, our presentations are always data-driven and action-focused.

We cover how to stop overreaching liberal school boards and bureaucrats, and how to fight back against activist judges pushing Lawfare goals—an effort that reached its peak in attempts to prevent Americans from voting for President Trump by imprisoning, bankrupting, or removing him from the ballot through judicial activism.

We also address stopping illegal immigration that fuels human trafficking, fentanyl deaths, and violent gang activity—issues that hit close to home in communities across the country. And keeping men out of women’s sports, restrooms and even prisons.

Hear about the ground game that led to Restoration News citing our work as one of just three national success stories in the 2024 cycle link to article, with detailed quotes and strategy breakdowns.

We’re happy to tailor remarks to your audience—whether it’s a policy group, church leaders, campaign volunteers, or national funders. Past talks range from a 2017 Silicon Valley session with tech executives (back when Elon Musk was just the 20th richest man in America) to getting powerful candidate comparisons into the hands of thousands of targeted voters at just $1 per voter reached—five times more efficient than typical commercial efforts.

Let us know if you want a deep dive on winning over lawmakers after the campaign ends, how to run an effective church outreach push, or what’s working with third-generation canvassers in swing counties across America—or ask us to go deeper into one of the past issues covered in any of the dozens of headlines from past media appearances and speeches written about at wisconsinffc.com.

Q&A on topics like parental rights, limited government, election reform, and the future of center-right organizing. including why Restoration News featured WIFFC as one of 3 success stories showing the path to conservative victory.

Don’t Fund Noise. Fund Movement.

Your Donation Can Change Conservative Turnout for Years to Come

A permanent campaign requires permanent commitment. Your investment today builds the foundation for victory tomorrow.

TV ads disappear in 30 seconds. Field operations create voters for life.

WIFFC proved it in a pilot in Ashland County—delivering a 10-point conservative swing by investing in year-round grassroots organizing.

For major donors, a $50,000 sponsors a field director:

 Builds trusted church-to-voter networks

 Trains local, faith-driven volunteers

Drives voter engagement in overlooked areas

Outperforms million-dollar ad blitzes at a fraction of the cost

For smaller donors, a targeted voter is reached for every $1 given; one-fifth the cost of paid canvassing operations. $500 = putting turnout lit in the hands of 500 more conservative voters who too often stay home in close election races.

Don’t fund noise. Fund movement.

Every day we wait, the other side builds.
